What people come in for
Reasons for a first visit
These are the reasons people give. They aren't a list of what we promise to fix.
Calves and shins after long runs
Tight lower legs after a long week of downhill miles or a hard block.
Shoulders and neck from poles and packs
A stiff upper back from skiing, hiking with a pack or hours on a bike.
Hips and low back after long days
A tight low back or hips after a long ride, a skin track or a day on your feet.
Forearms and fingers from climbing
Sore forearms and elbows after a season on the wall or the rock.
Knees after big descents
Achy knees after a long downhill, with a physical therapist's plan alongside.
Rest weeks and between races
A visit in a rest week, to talk through the next block and wind down.
What acupuncture does not do
It does not replace your doctor, a physical therapist or a coach, and it does not promise a result or a faster time. We do not make a diagnosis or prescribe medicine.
When to see a doctor instead
See a doctor or an urgent care clinic first for sharp pain after a fall or a hit, a swollen joint you can't put weight on, new numbness or weakness, or a fever. For chest pain, trouble breathing or any emergency, call 911.
